CEU Malolos hits 72.22% in NLE
Sixty-five board examinees or 72.22% of CEU-Malolos passed the Nursing Licensure Examination held on July 2 and 3, 2011.
Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) said that this passing rate is higher compared with the July 2011 national board passing rate of 48.01%.
Among the 78,135 Nursing examinees from the different universities and colleges in the Philippines who took the July 2011 licensure exam, 37,513 passed the examination.
In an interview by The Academe, Carmel Sofia Catacutan, one of the newly-registered nurses said that she was thankful for having been named as a registered nurse despite having trials in meeting the demands of the Nursing course.
“(I am) very proud that once again, CEU students made it in the NLE. Without the help of our clinical instructors, families and the almighty God, we could not have made this far,” she added.
As a tradition of the department for newly-licensed nurses, a testimonial luncheon was held last September 14.
